New season, new menu of rich seasonal dishes. We went looking for the area’s non-stereotypical fall specials. In other words, this is not a pumpkin spice latte roundup.

The recent interest in savory coffee drinks takes a new form in Solid Grounds’ Rosemary Maple Latte, a mildly sweet drink with a maple syrup aroma. A pumpkin pie latte, should you be looking for a classic fall fix, is also on the menu.

Formally known as Backcountry Deli, Yampa Sandwich Company welcomes the season with a new sandwich—the Spicy Chipotle Honey BBQ Sandwich with pulled pork, pepper jack cheese, vinaigrette slaw and chipotle honey barbecue sauce—and five soups: a Butternut Squash Bisque, Tuscan White Bean with Sausage, Chicken Poblano, Beef Chili and Tomato Bisque.

Further proof that the Del’s bar is the best place to end the day: this new lineup of cocktails. Sip on the Vesper Rosa, made with Belvedere Lake Bartężek, Sipsmith gin and Combier Pamplemousse Rose; Pink Peppercorn Gimlet, with Hendrick’s gin, lime, mint and pink peppercorn; and Smoked Sazerac, with Hennessy cognac, Bulleit Rye, Penrod absinthe, maple syrup, Peychaud’s Aromatic Cocktail Bitters and applewood smoke.

Landry’s has unveiled a plethora of fall menu options, including a Bourbon St. Bouillabaisse (redfish, calamari, mussels, crawfish tails, andouille sausage and Provençal sauce), N’awlins Salmon and Shrimp, Dynamite Oysters, Fall Harvest Mahi, Fall Harvest Sea Bass, Cracklin Redfish and a showstopping s’mores.
