New season, new menu of rich seasonal dishes. We went looking for the area’s non-stereotypical fall specials. In other words, this is not a pumpkin spice latte roundup.
Solid Grounds Coffee House
The recent interest in savory coffee drinks takes a new form in Solid Grounds’ Rosemary Maple Latte, a mildly sweet drink with a maple syrup aroma. A pumpkin pie latte, should you be looking for a classic fall fix, is also on the menu.
Yampa Sandwich Company
Denver Tech Center
Formally known as Backcountry Deli, Yampa Sandwich Company welcomes the season with a new sandwich—the Spicy Chipotle Honey BBQ Sandwich with pulled pork, pepper jack cheese, vinaigrette slaw and chipotle honey barbecue sauce—and five soups: a Butternut Squash Bisque, Tuscan White Bean with Sausage, Chicken Poblano, Beef Chili and Tomato Bisque.
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse
Further proof that the Del’s bar is the best place to end the day: this new lineup of cocktails. Sip on the Vesper Rosa, made with Belvedere Lake Bartężek, Sipsmith gin and Combier Pamplemousse Rose; Pink Peppercorn Gimlet, with Hendrick’s gin, lime, mint and pink peppercorn; and Smoked Sazerac, with Hennessy cognac, Bulleit Rye, Penrod absinthe, maple syrup, Peychaud’s Aromatic Cocktail Bitters and applewood smoke.
Landry’s Seafood House
Landry’s has unveiled a plethora of fall menu options, including a Bourbon St. Bouillabaisse (redfish, calamari, mussels, crawfish tails, andouille sausage and Provençal sauce), N’awlins Salmon and Shrimp, Dynamite Oysters, Fall Harvest Mahi, Fall Harvest Sea Bass, Cracklin Redfish and a showstopping s’mores.
